As anesthesia and surgery can be a worrisome time for owners, we will take the time to explain and answer any questions you may have. We use the very best anesthetic and monitoring protocols to ensure the optimum safety for your pet.

Vaccinations

We provide individual vaccination programs for dogs, cats and rabbits. All programs are tailored to provide maximal protection against the targeted disease while minimising unnecessary treatments.

We can spay your female cat from 3 months of age and your female dog from 6 months.

Both male cats and dogs can be castrated from 3 months.

All of our spays and castrations have a full clinical examination prior to surgery and an anesthetic plan designed to provide optimum safety and special attention to pain management before and after surgery.

Small Block and Farm Services

Our vets are well experienced in treating a large range of small block animals, including sheep, goats, alpacas, cattle and pigs.

For larger untransportable pets or for your convenience, we can arrange a vet to come to your property. Our only requirement is that the animals are restrained so we can examine them (yards, race etc).

For transportable pets, including lambs, goats, calves and some pigs you have the option of bringing them into us.
We are more than happy to see the smaller more manageable pets just like we would see a cat or dog, simply bring them in to the clinic (carried or on a lead).
For the slightly larger or less manageable animals we have a holding pen at the back of the building, that we can back a trailer up to. Just let the reception staff know in advance and on arrival.

Our shop stocks a wide range of products to meet your needs including drenches, fly strike treatment and vaccines Most of these are available in small quantities if you only have a few animals.
